Realizing there are very few "girls in the band", a young college jazz vocalist enlists the nation's top music institutions and assembles the first "All Women's Cross-Big Band". On her journey, she sparks engaging dialog with peers, educators, and prominent jazz-musicians, to understand gender, inclusion, and the challenges in jazz.
